Informers Houses Attacked

GAYA: Banned CPI (maoist) guerrillas blasted and set fire to houses belonging to two brothers, who were accused by the naxalites as police informers.

The incident happened late last night at Devania village, located at the maoist-infested district of Gaya district in Bihar, where nearly 200 heavily armed naxalites swooped down looking for Raghubir Yadav and Ranbir Yadav, police said on Wednesday.

Not finding the duo at home, the naxalites herded out their family members and set fire to their ancestral thatched house and blasted the adjacent double-storey building owned by the brothers using dynamites, Shergat deputy superintendent of police Balram Chaudhary told PTI.

A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the naxalites, he added
