ELN Combat Report

In northeastern Colombian Army develops a deep and sustained operation, producing further displacement and killed 45 peasants and workers during the year 2007. Units Front War northeast of the ELN have been fighting with the Army officer, with the following results.

5 - On December 7 at 4:00 pm units Front War northeast harassment conducted a patrol of the army government, in the settlement of San Jose, Tarra municipality, Norte de Santander department.

6 .- On December 12th at 2:30 AM units Front War northeast attacked government troops of the Army, on the sidewalk Corral de Piedra town of Tarra department of Norte de Santander.

Results: 5 soldiers killed.
Our strength was redeployed without incident.

7 - On December 30th at 8:50 AM units Front War northeast harassed a government army patrol in the village of balconies, in the municipality of San Calixto department of Norte de Santander.

Results: 1 dead soldier.
Our strength was redeployed without incident.

8 - On December 31 units Front war northeast conducted blasting of the pipeline Caño Limón Cobeñas, in the settlement of Caño Victoria town of Tibú, department of Norte de Santander.

9 .- On January 3, 2008 at 11:40 a.m., units of the North Eastern Front War fighting with government army troops in the village of La Paz, a municipality in the Tarra department of Norte de Santander.
